Students are to be able to use proper expressions in speaking, writing, reading and listening in the real contexts of conversation.

The main objective of this module is for you to be able to understand medium to long texts by using proper reading comprehension strategies.

Essentially, in these two modules you are expected to be able to  express yourselves  in writing by using proper grammar and language / expressions.

In the age of social media where everyone is connected, being critical about what you find on the internet is becoming more important. One first step to be able to reed critically is to differentiate fact from opinion.

How strong can your arguments be? How would you convince other people to do what you want them to do? In many cases, all you need is pure facts and solid data.

In these two modules, you are expected to be able to plan and revise your rafts ion making argumentative writing and use MUST and HAVE TO, to state necessity and expectations.

In these two modules, you will be able to learn about passive voice more comprehensively, you will also be able to write your ideas academic writing genre properly. One particular academic writing product to be used here is an observation-based scientific writing report.
